Poached Eggs?

Hey guys! Happy super duper Friday!! I love that I can lay in bed and blog. How fun =)

Anyways I was wondering if anyone has had poached eggs before. Are they any good? Are they worth the extra cook time? I'm trying to find some creative meals that might help me stay fuller longer and I was thinking maybe poached eggs and a bowl of fruit for breakfast.

What do you guys think? Any other suggestions for some good breakfast foods?

  1. Yes worthwhile, yes good.

    You can either used a pan of water, to create a kind of egg floater, or use a poaching pan.

    I made the mistake once of beating an egg forgetting I wasn't going to scramble it, but then poached it in the pan anyway.

    The end result being you get something that tastes like a scrambled Egg, looks a bit like a cut tangerine and is basically a sort of poached, scrambled hybrid.

    I have since called it a Scroached Egg :-p :-p.
