Introducing Kaliya Aria Kleckley!

Hellooooo Blogger world! Hope you are all doing well! I'm just checking in to introduce you all to my lovely daughter Kaliya Aria Kleckley. She was born on July 31st, 2010 at 9:02pm. Ironically enough she was born only a day after my last post where I explained that I was having a c-section on the 10th of August. Well, she decided it was time to make her debut earlier. My water broke around noon on Saturday July 31st and because she was still breech they went ahead with the c-section plans. Everything went really well and my recovery has been quite good.

I was off all pain meds only 2 weeks after I had her and was driving around that time as well. I just had my 6 week check-up and the doctor said everything looks good so I've been cleared to start exercising again! I've lost 35 of the 55 pounds that I gained during the pregnancy, so my first goal is to focus on those last 20 pounds. Woo hoo! I never thought I'd actually be excited to start exercising again haha but I've been craving it for the longest! And not just walking or biking, I can't wait to start lifting weights again so I can reshape this lovely body I have. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things as far as planning out my meals and what exercise will be but I expect to start up full force within the next week or so.

Things have been quite crazy as you could imagine. I have a 6wk old baby, working full time and going to school part time. Wowza, I never thought I could juggle it all but it's actually not that bad. So once I get back into the swing of things you guys will be seeing a lot more of me and you're going to like it ;-) I'll leave you with some pictures of my baby...Enjoy!

  3. Firstly. CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your little fluffball Jemma, she is an absolute little star.

Secondly CONGRATULATIONS on managing to lose a lot of the weight. It's only by being so proactive on your own health, that you will be able to become someone, who can set a really good, positive example for their daughter and be able to be there for them more, physically, mentally and emotionally too.

This is a new life that can be shaped into a productive and valuable adult. The world has always needed people with a great heart and a lot of human emotion like you and the world will always need children, that can be moulded into a similar person like the one that gave birth to them.

Now you have two major jobs in one, which are to be good to yourself and help to create and maintain a solid Mother / Daughter bond, that allows you to teach her what she needs to hopefully become like you one day.

I am 100% certain you can do both of these, as well as anybody could do and I wish you all the luck in the world, trying to do what you personally must do for your daughter and you too.

You're a very human person and have quite a lot of emotional beauty, so I know your daughter will ALWAYS deserve you and she will be very lucky to have you in her life.

I know you'll do just fine Jemma.

GOOD LUCK again, best wishes and CONGRATULATIONS again. You should be so, so proud of yourself, for being able to deal with months of carrying and protecting a little life inside of you.

You are AMAZING. Keep on proving it yeah :-) :-).

    Matt
